Meuse, Lorraine (North-East)
Lovely village home accross from the church
This traditional farm house dates back to 1828. It once served as the mayors' home and is therefore anchored at the centre of the village. However, after stepping out of the front door, one walks within two minutes into the surrounding fields, forests and hills of the Meuse Valley. The house lays opposite the church of the village where the elementary school and the townhall guard the main square. Shops are as close as 9 kilometers and Verdun is an half hours drive.
Ground floor: main entrance into the livingroom/kitchen area with traditional characteristics, oak floor, Godin woord burners, built in cupboards. To the left is the livingroom. The back area is a working space and a shower and toilet.
Upstairs: large main bedroom, an unfinished second bedroom and an open area of about 12x6 mtrs.
The house also has a cellar.
Medium sized front garden.
Electricity, phone connection, boiler and spectic tank. The walls are sound and the roof has been redone approximately 5 years ago.
