No Cure No Pay... No risk
Are you looking for a house, manor, farm, B&B, villa, constructible plot or other property to buy in France? Immogo is probably one of the best sites to houses in France. We ask about 1% of the asking price for a successful ad, but hey, at least you know that when you pay us, it will be after you've found a buyer through our services and you've actually sold your French property. We will not send you an invoice unless you have sold your property in France, signed the official deed and have received the money in your bank account. Thanks to Immogo. Then and only then will we send you an offical invoice for a maximum of 1% of your originally published asking price.

Houses in sale... what to buy where
On this site you will find many houses and other property of private owners selling directly in almost all regions and 'departements' from the Ain (01) to the Val-d'Oise (95). French, but also Dutch, English, Belgium German and Swiss owners who want to sell without passing through a real estate agent in for instance the Allier (03) or the Ardennes (08). Are you looking for a house or constructible plot in the East or South-east of France, look at our offer in the Alpes de Haut-Provence (04), Hautes-Alpes (05), Drôme (26) and the Alpes Maritimes (06) or the Var (83). Regions that are very popular with british and Dutch are the Ardèche (07), Dordogne (24) and Burgundy, with the departments of Nièvre (58), Saône-et-Loire (71), Côte-d'Or (21), Yonne (89) and the well-known Parc Régional du Morvan. Some sites will take houses in rent, but we only take houses in sale.

The north of France
is lovely and offers good value for money. It has the extra advantage of being close to Belgium and the Netherlands, only a few hours drive. We try to convince house owners in the Pas-de-Calais (62), Nord (59) and Oise (60), but also in departements ilike Somme (80), Aisne (02), Marne (51), Meuse (55) and Meurthe-et-Moselle (54) to offer their domaine, country home, mansion, maison de maitre or other property for sale on Immogo. And the same goes of course for the Moselle (57), Bas-Rhin (67), Haut-Rhin (68), Vosges (88), Haute Marne (53 and Aube (10).

Would you prefer to stay closer to home?

France has a long coastline on the west side. If we go down from the North Sea and the Channel coast down to the south and the Atlantic, we pass: the beautiful land houses of Seine Maritime (76), a tiny bit of Eure (27), the Calvados (14), famous for its apples and of course the apple brandy, Manche (50) and the four provinces of Bretagne: Ille et Vilaine (35), Côte D'Armor (22), Finistère 2(29) snd Le Morbihan (56). These are the Northern beaches, known also from D-Day - the allied landing and the battles on the Somme.

Warmer beaches
Below that, are the warmer beaches of the Atlantique. With Loire-Atlantique (44), Vendée (85) - it seems the French themselves pick this as the best area to live - , Charente Maritime (17) and the Gironde. In the southermost part the wide sandy beaches of Les Landes (40) and the Pyrénées Atlantiques (64).

Along the Pyrenees
The departements that make up the border with Spain are an interesting living environment. Nice and warm, but close to the freshness of the mountains and the skiing resorts. Think of the Hautes Pyrénées (065), Haute Garonne (31), Ariege (09) and the Pyrénées Orientales, that furthermore boasts a Mediterranean coastline.

The mediterranean
Following the coast, we pass Aude (11), Hérault (34), the Gard (30), Bouches du Rhone (13), Var (83) and Alpes Maritimes (06). The part we know as The Rivièra with accross a stretch of water Corsica, in spite of some seperationist sentiments still part of France.

In the Southof France (Midi)

Here, you will find especially nice villas with swimming pools and all possible d’amenities near by, like golf courses, pleasure ports, water sports, nautical activities etc. More inland, like in the Vaucluse (84), Alpes de Haute Provence (04), Lozère (48), Aveyron (12), Tarn (81) and Tarn-et-Garonne (82) we also find old renovated sheeps farms  ( bergerie ) and lovely mas (other word for maison), and even former silk work farms, as this is part of the silk route.

Quiet inland departments

Of course we don’t want to classify the departments. There is something special for eany taste. Lots of people prefer to buy a home in less known but not less attractive areas like the Cantal (15), Lot (46), Lot et Garonne (82), Charente (16), Corrèze (19), Creuse (23), Eure (27), Gers (32), Isère (38), Lot (46). Excellent choice for those looking for peace, quiet and natural surroundings.
Just like by the way Mayenne (53), Meurthe-et-Moselle (54), Meuse (55) , Orne (61), Puy-de-Dôme (63), Haute-Saône (70), Sarthe (72), Deux-Sèvres (79), Vienne (86) en Haute-Vienne (87).

Cultural inheritance
Those fond of culture and castles, will find everything he needs in the area around the Loire river like the departements Indre-et-Loire (37), Haute-Loire (43) Eure-et-Loir (28) and Maine-et-Loire (49). As well as the Indre (36), Cher (18), Loir-et-Cher (41), Loire (42) and Loiret (45) where there are wonderful spots to buy a house and live.  Or a farm, an old water mill, a fixer upper ruin, a barn transformed into habitation or even a former church or school building.

The Eastern frontier

Here we find the Savoie (73), Haute-Savoie (74), Jura (39), Doubs (25) en Territoire-de-Belfort (90), departsments with rugged nature, mountains and hiking and ski areas.

Around Paris 75 (Île de France)

Finally, we have, of course, the heavily populated region pf central France: Essonne (91), Hauts-de-Seine (92), Seine-Saint-Denis (93), Val-de-Marne (94), Paris (75), Seine-et-Marne (77), Yvelines (78). The average house hunter will probably not be aiming for this region. The prices are relatively high in the proxumity of Paris. However, there might be expats and others wishing or having to live near the metropole. Therefore we will try to also find houses and apartments for sale in the Parisian area.
